01/11/2003 - Space research : ESA signs a contract with XENOCS

The European Space Agency (ESA) and Xenocs SA have signed a contract for the development of high performance supermirror coatings for the XEUS x-ray telescope mission currently under study. Under the two year contract, Xenocs will partner with the Danish National Space Center (DNSC) to develop and demonstrate coatings that will allow XEUS to see much harder x-rays than current technology allows.
